Good Latinas for Good

The starting pillar of the GL4G alliance has become to mentor for free a growing group of mentees that request our wisdom and trust our experiences to inspire them and provide a different viewpoint. After a successful first wave, we have increased our talented pool of mentors with an increased volunteer based cohort.

Since the beginning of the program in 2024, we have had 250 mentors counselling 700 mentees at no cost.

How does it work?

This is a zero cost program, where we will select latin women that apply for mentorship during a period of 3-4 months up to the capacity of the volunteer mentors, and based on fit with application. You will be given the details of your mentor, with whom you can book 3 appointments of max an hour each, and agree on the specific method (zoom, teams, facetime, etc).

Thanks to Rocket Mentoring, we can provide the etiquette for the mentorship relationship:

1. Have a clear objective – what do you want to achieve with your mentor experience?
2. Arrive on time to your appointment
3. Commit to the homework you will be given in between mentorship sessions.

We will ask in return that you provide us with a quote and picture that we can add to our linkedin feed and website, to help recruit the future cohorts of mentees.
